Her work was highly acclaimed in the 92 plays which she was a part of. She won an award in 2002, which was awarded to the best production of the Year by Canadian critics. She accepted the invitation to attend Stratford's conservatory. This is a course where only four men and eight females can attend a 20 weeks crash program in classical theatre. Contractor received a guaranteed spot in the following season of productions and was offered the role of Hermia In A Midsummer Night's Dream.
